My Raya Story

This is so late. Sigh. Just layan je la~

My morning raya was celebrate in Teluk Intan. Nothing much happened there. Later in the afternoon, me and my brother, were going back to celebrate raya in Johor. My parent and sister stayed in Teluk Intan.

Since it was already late evening when we reached Johor, I miss the big gathering on the first day of Raya.

The morning of second raya. The boys were ready for Akah Nikah ceremony! Ehh.. Bara'an la! LOL! Bara'an is a Jawa word which mean going raya house to house in a large group. Usually the group can be up to 60 to 70 or more peoples. As far as I knew, Bara'an is famous in rural area of Johor and Selangor.

Lek Nah's family.

While we were in Johor, we stayed at Lek Nah's house. She was the closest auntie, since she used to stay with us in Ipoh when we were kids. Oh ya, back then, I used to call Lek Nah as Mak.

She is my favourite niece. We were like an item.

Echa is the purest hearted kid that I ever met.

I'm pretty happy that I back to Johor to celebrate raya. It would be a lot better if my parent and sister were there too. I can't be selfish. But, I tell you, it's not easy to not raya with your own parent. Sayu ok. I almost cry on the second raya because I miss my parent, and it's raya some more. But, some people just don't understand this...

However, I'm enjoying every minutes I was there. Don't know whether I'll have another opportunity to be back in Johor in future.

Ohh, by the way, I received a lot of duit raya this year. It's more than Rm500. But now, I'm already broke. Haha. This year will be the last year to received it since I'll be working by next raya. Insyaallah..
